Teresa Mares is Associate Professor of Anthropology and the Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Food Systems at the University of Vermont. She is the author of Life on the Other Border: Farmworkers and Food Justice in Vermont (University of California Press, 2019) and is currently working on a co-authored book (with Laura-Anne Minkoff-Zern), Will Work For Food: Labor Across the Food Chain.
