Nick Ostdick is a husband, soon-to-be-father, and distance runner based in Western Illinois. He holds an MFA in creative writing from Southern Illinois University and has published fiction, non-fiction, and interviews in several national publications. A former college instructor, journalist, and blogger, his essays on food, drink, and culture have appeared or are forthcoming in such magazines as PorchDrinking, Mash Tun Journal, and others.
