Maaike Baker is a recent graduate of Gordon College on Massachusetts' North Shore, where she studied journalism. She is just dipping her toes in food journalism, focusing mainly on urban farm education. She now lives in Washington DC, where she works with the organic gardening company Love & Carrots and the Center of Science in the Public Interest. In her free time, Maaike will do anything to be outside in her hammock.
