He created the Good Food Festival and Conference which is a leading gathering to advance the Good Food Movement with a trade show, policy summit, financing conference, school food summit, and food festival. Jim is the editor of Wholesale Success: A Farmers Guide to Selling, Post Harvest Handling, and Packing Produce. The manual gives small to mid-size growers technical assistance to help them develop the skills to sell produce into wholesale markets and over 6000 farmers have been trained using it as a primary reference.
