Hannah G. Jones | Civil Eats


Hannah Jones is a nutrition policy coordinator at the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), one of the country’s leading health advocacy organizations that specializes in food, nutrition, and obesity prevention. At CSPI, Hannah has conducted a campaign to support implementation of the updated school meal nutrition standards, coordinated efforts to improve the snacks and beverages sold in schools, and worked to strengthen national requirementsfor calorie labeling in chain restaurants. Hannah helps coordinate the activities of the National Alliance for Nutrition and Activity (NANA) and has represented CSPI as a steering committee member of the National Fruit and Vegetable Alliance and the Healthy Kids Healthy Future workgroup. A North Carolina native, Hannah graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
