Thanks for the great review of Jan's book. As both a mother and the woman working on publicizing it, I appreciate it.

If you're one of those angry moms who is looking for some support in your journey of school food advocacy, visit www.betterschoolfood.org for lots of great resources. The work of Better School Food was featured in the 2007 independant documentary film, Two Angry Moms (if you want to buy a copy of the DVD, visit www.angrymoms.org)

The bottom line is, we still DON'T have enough "Angry Moms" (and dads) out there to shift the consciousness of school food. Apathy still reigns. Brown bagging parents think that this is not "their" problem. People w/out kids think poor school food has no impact on them. They are WRONG!

We are all in this boat together. These kids are our future, we'll all pay the price for their declining health. We all need to take a stand.

Don't just sit there, do something!
