Excellent article Andy! A great read which captured the whole event in a nut shell.

It was a real eye opener for me (as a first timer to anything of this kind) and I am so glad I got the opportunity to be there. It was a great atmosphere. A memorable one for sure! So well done to all of you, it really was fantastic.

Well written, Andy!
You've painted such a happy, vibrant and well-fed picture, I'm even more sad to have missed it!
Mark is truly an inspiration. I've been working with him for Freeskilling (free skill-share workshops, organised through Freeconomy) throughout this last year and knowing the trials and tribulations that have faced him, he has stayed so positive and dedicated to his cause. And quite right that we all should celebrate his achievement, and look at how we can follow his lead in our own ways.
But added to that, I think you and your brother, Dave, should also be lauded for your work alongside Mark's at encouraging folk to notice the greenery around us and appreciate the value of even the most insignificant 'weed' in our attempt to become more self-sufficient!
Well done and thank you!
