This is in reference to the free/reduced lunch program. Taxpayers deserve to know that their tax dollars are going to feed people that are not putting into the system. That's like someone stealing food from our tables. Last I checked, illegal meant against the law or not allowed. If the dollars only had to feed a much smaller percentage of mouths there would be more quality in the food "dished out". Actually take the time to ensure that your kids are eating healthy, instead of just giving them a few bucks to eat what the school is serving (because it's easier) or just relying on free handouts from the government. It's called personal responsibility. You know, there is an easy solution this so-called problem: if you don’t think that the school is providing a healthy lunch for your kids, then pack them a healthy one. Actually take the time to ensure that your kids are eating healthy, instead of just giving them a few bucks to eat what the school is serving (because it’s easier) or just relying on free handouts from the government.

It’s called personal responsibility.
