Jeffrey Betcher and Quesada Gardens Initiative serve as one of the great role models out in there in the diverse world of food system change. Jeffrey is one of dearest human beings you will ever meet and his community is stronger for his vision and big heart. Anna Ghosh has done a superb job with this story! Thank you.

Also, please add Collective Roots (http://www.collectiveroots.org) to the list of organizations working to make fresh, healthy food more accessible to underserved neighborhoods. CR develops school gardens and has started a farmers' market in East Palo Alto (http://www.epafarmersmarket.org).
