What a wonderful idea. I am working on a book, due out in 2010, about buying pastured sustainable meat from farmers, including how to fill out cutsheets, and with 300 recipes for cooking grass-fed meat. I will include this in the book, in the Source section. Hope it spreads like wildfire!

I’ve been looking for a way to purchase range-fed meat directly from the farmer, and not quite living in N. Cal, haven’t found it yet. Thanks so much for putting this together. I’ll be checking it out soon.

Tamar, this is awesome. Many congratulations. I have fantasies of buying a whole elk myself – it’s amazing how disconnected we’ve become from eating animal organs, which are of course the most nutritious part!
