<description>There is an active 19th-century farm, Ploch&#039;s Farm, in private ownership in Clifton, New Jersey.

Also in Clifton, is a publicly owned 19th-century farmhouse turned museum (Hamilton-Van Wagoner House Museum) which is only open on Sundays. It is well located beside a city playground, downhill from Montclair State University, and adjacent to a residential neighborhood. It is a missed opportunity due to a lack of regular hours and activities.
